Aesthetics

Composite Bonding, also known as tooth bonding or dental bonding, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure. It’s performed by dentists who have received special training to restore teeth and can change their shape, size, length and colour, as well as close unwanted gaps. Composite bonding is a popular alternative to traditional ceramic veneers, however, as it’s non-invasive, your natural teeth are not damaged, drilled or shaved in most cases.

HOW DOES COMPOSITE BONDING WORK?

After you’ve decided on how your new smile will look, our specially trained dentist will attach a colour-matched, composite resin to your tooth and shape it.
It’s specifically designed to look totally natural, providing a full smile makeover that’ll leave yours brighter and more harmonious.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF COMPOSITE BONDING?

NON-INVASIVE

Composite bonding is completely non-invasive, meaning your natural teeth will not be harmed during treatment. The resin is strong and will be cured onto your natural teeth meaning you won’t have sensitivities or issues with eating or drinking.

COLOUR OPTIONS

You can select a resin whiter than your natural teeth to help you achieve your perfect smile. This can be further complemented by having the surrounding teeth whitened to give your smile as natural a look as possible.

TEETH STRENGTHENING

Composite bonding isn’t a cosmetic-only solution: it can be great for anyone whose tooth structure has been damaged or weakened without causing further damage to the teeth.

HOW LONG DOES COMPOSITE BONDING TAKE?

Typically, composite bonding can be applied to your teeth within 3 to 4 sessions. There will be no drilling, injecting or anything invasive during your appointment. It is pain-free and almost always reversible.

WHAT IS FREEHAND COMPOSITE BONDING?

This is the more traditional composite bonding method, during which a skilled dentist will apply resin directly to your teeth to fill chips, gaps, smooth edges & ridges and to improve the colour of your teeth.

The dentist will show their work as they go and you can look in the mirror every step of the way.
